Pretty Lake

We went to Pretty Lake in Wild Rose for the weekend. It was a relaxing weekend and we got to spend time with Kirsten, Emilio, Samantha and our Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Grandma. Our favorite thing to do was SWIMMING. We spent a lot of time in the water. By the end of the weekend we could hardly talk and we had the sniffles.

Here is J getting buried in the sand:

She had a tough time digging herself out.

Here brother and sisters had to help dig her out.

Samantha made us a T.V. :) J even found a new fangled remote control.

J loved jumping off of the pier. Mommy had a hard time getting a good picture because it was running and jumping over and over and over again.

Mommy took a few of the older kids geocaching. The didn't have much luck finding anything but they did manage to get all sweaty and have lots of scrapes, cuts and itchies.

This was the last spot they went to. Mommy thought it was beautiful and could have spent the whole day there. We really enjoy Pretty Lake and everything around there. We can't wait to go again next year.

Pretty Princesses

We had a BBQ at Summer and Sierra's house. (Mommies friend and her daughter) Sierra had some pretty dress up clothes that she gave us. Of course we were so happy because they were princess dresses. We love dressing up as princesses and couldn't wait to put them on and play at home.

Happy Birthday Mommy!

Yes, it's true. Mommy turned 35 today. We tried to make the day very special for her. After she got home from work we had her presents waiting for her. We each gave her a chocolate bar and she was so nice that she gave us the first pieces. We made these pretty little cards for her and celebrated with a cake after dinner. Mommy said that this was her best birthday ever because we made her smile so much!

There's nothing like a long walk

This morning was pretty quiet. J got home around 12:00. The afternoon was pretty noisy and we acted a little crazy. We spent a lot of time coloring and then had some ring pops that A had bought when she went shopping the last time with Mommy. A had to be a show off again when she had her picture taken.

After dinner we went for a really nice walk with Mommy. It would be nice if Mommy took us on more walks like this one. Of course Mommy brought along her camera. She finally learned that she misses out on great picture moments when she forgets to bring it along. We found this really huge tree and asked her to take a picture of it. Since it's a weeping willow and that's her favorite kind of tree she took the picture for us. She also took some pictures of us being silly on our walk.

Tailgate party - Happy Birthday D

Today was a part at Auntie Judy and Uncle Harry's house. It was a party that we have had every year for the last 4 years. 4 years ago today, Granna Purvis passed away. Typically we have a tailgate party at Miller Park because Granna Purvis loved the Brewers. Unfortunately plans didn't work out and we could go to a Brewer's game. Instead Auntie Judy and Uncle Harry hosted the tailgate party at their house. In typical fashion, there was a downpour of rain but it didn't last the whole time. After a while the rain went away and we were all able to play outside again.

It was also our cousin Delano's 9th birthday. It was a lot of fun to celebrate something good on this day too. Delano really didn't like what he had to do to get $20 from Uncle Jimmy but he did it anyways. Del was also a little embarassed when we all sang Happy Birthday to him. We were happy when we got to eat cake. We both gobbled down 2 pieces of cake.

Tonight J stayed for a sleep over with A and T.  A got to go home and have special alone time with Mommy and Daddy. Plus, J got some fancy new clothes from Grandma for school.

At the park with E

Today we went to Auntie S's new house. She lives a few blocks from Enderis Park. This is a park that the neighbohood has revitalized and made into a great place for kids to play.

We put on our suits before we walked to the park. We knew they had a nice playground and a pool too. We were very excited to see what fun we were going to have.

First we played on the playground with Emerson. Our favorite part was playing on the swings.

Then we decided to beg to play in the pool. It was right behind the playground so it was calling our names. It wasn't too long before we were splashing in the pool. We also knew that Mommy was taking our picture so we had to pose a lot too.

State Fair

Today we went for a visit to state fair. The first thing we always do at the fair is go to see all the animals.

The first thing we saw was the ducks, chickens and rabbits. We even got to pet a real bunny.

Then we got to go see the cows. There was a place where we got to pet a real calf. When we were walking around one of the nice ladies asked if we wanted to pet her calf too. We each took a turn petting the calf. The lady said the calf didn't have a name yet so A said the name should be "Beautiful Beautiful."

Then we walked around the horse barn. A couldn't figure out how to see the horses so Daddy carried her on his shoulders the whole time.

They had all this cut out animals pictures all over the place. We loved posing in these things to get our picture taken.

After we saw all the animlas we got a smoothie and walked around to see the rest of the fair. We saw pigs, sheep and dogs. We went through the buildings where they were selling a ton of different things. We got really hot and we were getting cranky so we decided to call it a day. We got some McDonald's on the way home and then tried to take a nap.

It was great day and we had a lot of fun. J said her favorite part of the day was seeing the baby piglets. A said her favorite part was seeing the baby cow.
