Stories and fun pancakes

Today was another rough one.  Someone has been struggling with her behavior.  Either she is just having a hard time with the adjustment back to school after Christmas break or she is going through a growth spurt or something that is really making her have a hard time controlling herself.  Anyway, we are working on it.  She set some goals for herself yesterday and worked really hard on them today.  There will be lots of little reminders to help her along.

The girls were maybe going to go to their Daddy's house tonight but it's kind of hard to make that work during the week.  I wasn't the favorite mom because I said I didn't think it was a good idea.  Jazmine was disappointed because she had brought home this story she had written.  She is really excited to get to show her Daddy because it's all about them opening their presents from him on Christmas Day.  It's really cute.  I did remind her that she will have other opportunities to show him the story and I am sure she will take it right over to him when she brings it back from school.

To try and make it up to them I made fun pancakes for dinner.  If you look really close you may see that they were colored green.  They also have sprinkles added on the side you can't see.  They even asked if they could eat them differently so instead of cutting them up they were able to "rip and dip" them.
